So what all do I need?

I'm getting a TASCAM 424MkIII 4 track recorder, but as far as mics and mixers and cords and adaptors and all that other stuff, I'm at a loss. Please help me out. Keep in mind that this is for a high school garage band (actually, it's a basement, but whatever). We decent quality for decenter price. So there.

It looks like all you really need is how ever many mic's (up to 4), cables, and monitors to listen to what you've put down.. I think the ouputs are RCA. The unit has pre's built in -

You'll be up and running in no time!
