my local pimp (the guy who supplies me with the bits and bobs i dont have in my home studio yet) tells me he is no longer hiring out the Rode NTK.....but I can hire out the Rode Classic.....

Im going to record vocals (a deep male voice) and acoustic with this thing.

is this mic ok for this use...any stories to tell on it....


do i start looking for a new hire shop??

the rode classic is an incredible mic. sounds great on r&b vocals. it tends to lose a little of its sound after being left on for long periods. so, use it after turning it on rather than turning it on and letting it sit there for an hour or so.
