I have 2 x M-Audio Delta 1010's - one of them seems to have stopped working randomly?

Anyone used these before / had the same issue? It's well out of warranty, but wondering if I can get it repaired / if there's any common issues with them?

Any help would be appreciated... I can't really afford to replace it at the moment :(

Hi Spikeh,
let's try to eliminate somethings here.....
remove both of the delta's..remove the current 1010 drivers...goto the M-audio site, download the latest driver,
run the new driver....make sure you get the correct one...the following is just a guide. (1010 series, there is also a 1010LT !)

Re-install your Delta's....let the PC go thru the motions of start up.
Check and see if they are now both working.

This is just for starters....see how u go..get back to us.
regards,
Spit.

Cheers for the reply... I'll give re-installing a go, but I very much doubt it'll work...

Basically, the lights are off on the unit - all the level meters in the M-Audio software are just maxed out, but not giving off any signal. The same as when it's turned off.

I've tried swapping over the power packs, and also tried swapping over the DIN cables, and only one of the units is working... I'm fairly sure it's hardware based. Either that or the PCI card itself is broken...

change the PCI card slot location aswell...swap them , move them....try it with the above!
don't give up just yet!

My Delta 1010 also just crapped out on me, it works but has a nasty crackle, I think one of the caps is leaking. Anyway, in my pursuit to find a solution M-audio let me know that the Delta series has a lifetime warranty, so try that out too.
