So i just picked one of these up after watching several mic test videos online (which sounded great)

But since iv been playing around with it the recordings are coming out very muffled, Setting 1 is the worst with Setting 3 having the best clarity.

Iv tried Adobe 1.5,3 and CS6 all the same muffled sound. Iv tried the mixing pre sets i used on my old headset (which sounds 100 times better) and it still cant get it to sound how iv heard it sound in videos.

am i missing something? any help would be appreciated. :drunk:

Let us hear a preview of you speaking into it?

1 just sounds a lot more muffled to me. 3 is clearer for talking, but i cant record vocals on it.

EDIT - remove the space.

I heard between the two, and I think I know why you said that its "muffled". Because it does not have the "focus" sound. Make sure you are speaking correctly into the microphone, and turn up the gain, its too soft. After that, tell me the results.
