I recently purchased the FS all birch Pacific made by DW drums and it has the F.A.S.T. tom sizes (10,12,14)

since the 10 inch tom's tone is much similar to the snare it causes the snare to buzz , as for right now this is not a problem because we are not recording anything right now but i know in the future it will cause a ruckus

is there like different snares i can put on the bottom that are specifically for recording or no buzz????

The reason that the snares buzz is the same reason that if you play an 'a' very loudly in a guitar shop all the 'a' stings in the shop (if tuned properly) will resonate freely.

Now I have no idea why this is. lol. I'm sure somebody here will know though.

But to get rid of it, you need to make the snare a different tone. Changing the snare wires won't do anything. It's the tuning of the snare that's the issue, or the tom.
BUT you'll have to change one of their tunings. Sometimes it can be the little things, so have a mess around with your snare, slightly changing the tesion of each lug and see if it goes away, I find this often to be the case. Otherwise change the tuning of one of the drums.

You could also try tightening the snare wires slightly, don't do it so much it chokes the sound. But tightening it slighly might save you many hours of fine tuning that snare drum.
