Snap to grid feature does not work correctly

Hi,

has anyone else noticed that the snap to grid feature in Sonar does not work properly? When I switch to the piano roll view, set up the snap feature to snap on wholes, use "move by" and then shift a note, I do not end up exactly one whole from the beginning of the drag operation. For example, I might start at 1:04:906 and end at 2:04:894 or anywhere else near the correct location. It does snap, however, so it´s not me releasing the mouse too soon or so.
The problem does not occur when it´s a position that has a tick value of 000 like 3:04:000 or so. It also does not always happen, though, but the time above ( 1:04:906 ) demonstrates the problem.

Is this a bug or did I get anything wrong?

did you Check in the snap options if you have the snap to zero crossings checked?

Which version or Sonar are you using?

If its not 2.0, do you have all the patches installed? That sounds like one of the original problems in the initial versions (1.0)

It´s Sonar 2. The snap to zero crossings option is grayed-out, as this probably does not apply to midi but to audio only.

I have just examined the described behaviour again and I have noticed that dragging a note to the desired position seems to bring it to the correct time first, but as soon as I release the mouse button the note moves a tiny bit, which may cause the error. It´s really just releasing the button, my hand does otherwise not move the mouse at all.
