Hmmm, no, see I have 2 computers; one for the internet (with no speakers) and one for recording, with only studio monitors, and no internet. I need to D/L it and copy to disk, then import it into my recording computer. Besides, I'd like to hear it through my monitors.
I guess I could become a member. If I had to.:rolleyes:

Yeah man..........nowhere is definitely a site worth joining. Most of us use it to post our songs and Waldo is a great guy who really cares about the integrity of his site and about his people. :)

That's quite alright Bob. I welcome the information. Waldo does get kind of irate though when ppl direct link. I can see his point.
I have a site at IUMA, no spam from there either, and I believe anyone can D/L, member or not.

Yes, I get irate when people rip me off ;)

Anywho, it's up to the artist who uploads the music to decide who can download it and who can't. If they want to set it so that anyone can download, then they just have to set that permission through their control panel!

Good thing I like Floyd and Genesis. It makes me appreciate these mellow songs also. The mix sounds good, and I like what you've conjured as far as mood. This song is just great, and it doesn't need anything to add. It could be longer, but not necessarily. It could have some little effects here and there, but necessarily. I guess if it ain't broken, don't fix it (but you can always try to :) )

I read some of the other responses, and I'm thinking you COULD add the vocals there. But then you'd be in a risk of turning yourself into Elton John. :D But I think it's worth a shot, if you want to experiment your voice on a piano background.

Yeah I'm into a lot of different things.... when I start a thread using 'samicide,' that will usually mean it's something mellow or synthy... and when I use B.SABBATH, that means it will probably be something halfway heavy.. :D I think that's called multiple personality disorder..:D

Cranky One - hey bro! :D Now that the seed has been planted, I am thinking on expanding this tune into a giant 'Sonata of Sorrow' :rolleyes: :D Maybe make it long and have all sorts of different orchestral instruments soloing away. :D who knows.. I think if I lay vocals to this, it probably would sound like Elton John........when he has the flu.....and a fever.....and a sore throat... thanks for the comments Crank, we'll be talking soon..:D

Questions would be what are you using to stream? The server is NOT reconverting the file, but some players cannot play VBR, so will just use a single CBR channel out of the file.

Sorry, don't got much time to listen these days, rushing to get the bandwidth app prepared for commercial release, as well as the station automation servers, etc.

hey Waldo, I was just busting yer chops! :D I use musicmatch and it definitely sounds better using the VBR even though it says 160 when streamed.. I hear the difference from the 160 that I used to use.. thanks W.
