Hi!

I am looking at buying a new small diaphragm condenser mic for use in home recordings, but there are so many to choose from!
I will be mainly using it for acoustic guitars, and for folk, soft rock, indie recordings.

I am on a bit of a budget with this one, but the mic i am interested in is a MXL V67-N

Has anyone had any experience with/heard the results of one of these mics?

There is a pair of Studio Projects SDC used for sale in the want adds forum here at HR!

They are ok in the same ball park as MXL or slightly better.

What did you think of the Studio Project pair? Did you converse with the seller to find out more?

yeah they looked good, but i couldn't get a response from them, i dont think they would want to ship to australia for me :(
I might just end up getting some mxl 603's or a.t. pro 37's off ebay.

Why not something in a Rode mic? They're made in Australia.
