I didn't know where to post this(maybe someone could tell me and I'll post it there too.) It's not really about recording but My bands website is on freewebs and I'm sure many of you will be familliar with the crappy unoriginal layouts you get with them. So I tried my hand with HTML and came up with this. See how the pictures take ages? Does anyone know what I could do to speed it up or do you know a discussion board that could help me out? I know HTML isn't hip now but It's all I could do in a few lunch breaks! Any help is most appreciated.

The graphics are small enough (that's the usual problem with slow loading pages) and the page coding is very lean so in this case I'd say you need to find a host with a faster server and/or connections to the web (since its being hosted for free, you now know why you DO get what you pay for...)

I know a few other people with freeweb sites, and they're almost always complaining about how slow things are. I'd have to assume that with so many free sites, their servers are probably sweatin' bullets 24/7.

i logged on to your website at 8:30 AM mountain time, and it was very fast. In fact, the picutres were loaded before i could even scroll down to them. I would also have to agree that the server you are using is slow.
maybe try:
www.angelfire.com
www.geocities.com
www.soundclick.com
and there was another good free one, i found it searching at yahoo.

10:30AM US CDT Fast load, no complaints.
