Is there a discount if you but two???
I had to wait 15 years before I could afford my first "proper" Gibson
 
Forget the guitar, that's not even the real Les Paul. That's an Epiphone old man made in China!
 
Seller is dumb. No way he gets $490,000 more for that guitar than he paid.

Everyone should make an offer to the guy.
Some silly low amount...just the opposite of his silly high asking price. :D

It has come to our attention that there are quite a few trolls out there already proclaiming their “expertise” and their "professional and considered opinion" that this guitar is somehow fake, or not the guitar on the cover of Les Paul’s Autobiography, etc, etc. Oh the great internet… with its haters, know-it-alls, and bottom feeding forum dwellers who so desperately need to get a life, and go on and on about things they know nothing about. You know...even if it IS the same guitar, why does he think it's worth $500k....because of the re-fret job????
 
He doesn't say how much he paid for it when he purchased it. He doesn't offer any photos of the guitar itself--just photos from the book. There is no provenance offered to confirm his claims. And personally, as much as I admired Les Paul for his shear genius and innovation, if I had $500k burning a hole in my pocket, I can think of better ways to spend it--like a month long vacation with my wife to thank her for putting up with me all these years for starters.
