Slackmaster, what ASIO driver version are you using for W2K

And is it still on Maudio's messed up webpage?

I need to reinstall W2K because windows 98 is giving me grief. It doesn't usually, but .... 'that's just the way it is...'

Emeric, the driver I'm using is the June 1st driver which is still on m-audio's site.

There are two drivers listed there: one is a multiclient WDM driver dated Oct 5, and the other is just a "delta series" driver dated June 1st. The multiclient driver is in constant update it seems, and I'm not going to try it again until it sort of stabilizes. The older driver is pretty good but has no multiclient support and limits non-ASIO use. Since you're using ASIO, try the June 1st driver.

The word from m-Audio is that the problems I experienced with the newer driver are due to my not having Win2k SP2 installed. This could be true since SP2 did include a lot of multimedia updates....but I haven't had time to download and install it yet.

Methinks m-Audio is severely understaffed in the driver department.
