Hey,
I have been using this card for about 3 months now and I am loving it. It doesn't give me any problems except for skipping. I think this problem has to do with my computer system rather than the soundcard itself. I am running an Athlon T-bird 1.2 ghz cpu with 384mb sdram. Now, the problem I am having is when I try and playback about 2 or 3 tracks while recording 8 my computer will not run very smooth. It will skip sometimes and mess the recording up. Anyway, I am going to buy a stick of 512mb sdram to add to my current configuration and see if that helps any. I was wondering if that will fix the problem or do I need to increase my CPU. I was contemplating getting a Dual !.0 ghz cpu motherboard and slapping in 512mb ddr ram. Would this system be a lot better for audio production than the system I have now? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Henry

I have exactly the same problem...
And my PC is slower than yours: PIII866 with 256ram and only one HD...I'm thinking about buying another HD and more RAM...
I hope this will work...

I would look at the hard drives first. You didn't speicfy what you have. So how many hdd's do you have and what is their speed?

I would suggest two hard drives (one for your OS and applications and one for audio only) and a 7200 RPM speed.
