what cymbal do i need to put on my ride to get a sizzleing sound?

You need to get a sizzle cymbal. And, no, I am not making that up.

you could just hang a chain on your cymbal for the same effect.

I made mine out of and old HiHat top. I used a rivet punch for 6 holes then put rivets in it.

Even better than the chain or the Promark rattler, just tape a penny or a dime to the cymbal. Not enough sizzle, just add another. Experiment with different coins and placement for different sounds. Brass washers will also work for another kind of sound. Best thing is that they are easy to remove when you want the regular ride or crash sound.
