SIT strings

In the neverending quest for .011's with a wound G string, I came across these strings- SIT (stay-in-tune) "power wound" strings. They are made in Akron, Ohio, and come in on the cheap side. These are .050 .036 .026 .020w .015 .011 with a .018 plain G included as an extra. They were $5.25 at the local mom and pop, who generally stick it to you for about $8.00 for a set of D'Addarios. As my usual D'Addario EX115W's were on order, I grabbed a set of SIT's before a gig, just as emergency backups. The question is- has anybody actually used these things, or have an inpression? I did an advanced search, and found nada on this board.-Richie
