Hey guys, im a singer with a pretty loud mouth. Voice is pretty powerful at some points during recording. Its kinda difficult for me to sway back and forth in front of the mic to get the levels right, so i think its time i get a good compressor. The music style is rock. anything in particular i should look at? price range preferably no higher than like 600, but i can go a little higher. thanx!

I would look for other solutions other than a compressor to correct for vocalist movement. Mic style and placement would be the first thing to try.

The limiter in a safe sound P1 would help you out, but the previous poster is correct in saying mic and placement are a priority
