Just one word: Awesome.

I really like it. I'm not a pro in this area, but I can easily say this is a well made track. Maybe it has issues but im unable to detect them.

Only thing, in mypersonal opinion, is that the vocals are centered with the main guitar. If I were u i'd change that just a lil for each side, just a lil.

What mic u used for the vocals?

Cheers!

I thought it sounded good. Vocals and guitars are nice and clear.

The little slide chord at :28 didn't work to my ear. In other spots I thought it was OK. But that first instance, just didn't fit the key.

To me the song needed something extra. Drums or a bass line that did a little more. Maybe a harmony vocal. Something else besides a single vocal and some acoustic instruments.

There are harmonies at the last quarter of the song. Maybe he gotta do it on the other section..

Cheers

Thanks for listening. You're too kind. I used a Shure SM-7. We tried a Blue Kiwi, but the SM-7 worked better on the song. The Kiwi was better on the other tune we did. Go figure. :)

Agreed. I hear all kind of stuff in there. The artist wanted to keep it simple and stripped down. thanks for listening!!!!

Great song and great performance. The recording is also very nice. I would have liked a few more db's on the background instruments (the main rhythm is okay), but that's a matter of personal taste..

Wow, nice production. I left some comments at sound cloud.

Very nice. I think you've done a really nice job capturing and mixing the elements. Reverb is tasteful and not overdone. Drums would bring this song alive. I think the dobro or slide guitar part would sound better if the slide was shorter (i.e. one or two frets) followed by some arpeggiated notes and then a short slide back down. Not great at describing what I'm hearing. It's not bad as is. I agree it sounds better in some places than others. Great work, thanks for sharing

Thanks for the listen!! Project 4 album sounds really good. :)

Cool tune! I like it a lot. Sounds really good.

I'd try to get the guitar to sound a little bigger. Some like acoustics the way you have it, so it's not bad...I just like bigger sounding acoustics for singer songwriter stuff. You can either work with the mic placement, EQ in some guts around 220, I like something around 700 to bring out the woodiness, and maybe bring down around 1500-2200 to leave room for the vocals. Compression can help with biggness too, and some warm reverb.

Vocals sound cool, I'd add some kind of delay or reverb just to liven it up a little and give it space.

Overall very nice.
