singer out of tone ??

just wanna know what can be used to correct voice recording which are ot of tone, i know some technike are used in pro recording like on the blink 182 s voices
Is thaht technike got a name ? is there some post or site talking bout it ?
The thing that make the voice of a singer intto the exact tone...

Are you sure it's not "out of tune" you are reffering to and not "out of tone."


it's probably "autotune" you are thinking about....
 
yes, do a search on autotune on this site and you will get your fill of autotune information.

i've been using autotune for about 3 years, and it is BEST used for fixing out of tune notes wherein the singer was ON-key most of the time, and OFF-key on a few notes.

then, you have singers like me that are strictly backup singers on a good day. autotune helps put my vocals in a BETTER place, but can only do so much before it starts to sound flake out and throw your voice up an octave.
 
k, its just casue my english is not perfect that i said tone :)
ill search some of that autotune, stuff
any ohter ideas ?
 
there is also the RBC voice tweaker, which I haven't used for quite some time now in favor of the autotune, but i'm sure the product has been steadily improved.

you should get the demo of both and compare them.
 
Antares makes a pitch corrector. I've never used it but it supposedly fixes these kinds of problems.

That would be the famous Autotune.
