I'm new to computer recording and to this BBS. What I want to do is to record into my computer from cassette or LP and store it on the hard drive for later recording onto a cd, etc. What is the most economical way to do this. Please don't assume that I know too much. Please detail the process and equipment. I'm hoping that for the limited times I'll be doing this, I won't have to invest in expensive software.
