I just started learning cubase LE today. Above the track you are recording or editing is the little timeline, I've got mine showing in mins/secs. When I first started using it they were in 5 second increments, now they are in 4 minute chunks. All the tracks look tiny, it makes them a little hard to work with. I'm sure you guys know how to change the time increment size, how is is done?

I'm not at my DAW now, but I believe there's a small slider towards the bottom right of the window.

No hassle. Simply drag your mouse vertically up or down on the time bar where it shows the 5 second increments or 4 minute increments. Once you do this, you will see the entire project shrinking or expanding. Sorry, if I wasn't clear on this.
I think what vaultstudio suggested is much easier.

What vaultstudio said fixed my problem, thanks. I have another problem that is probably as elementary to fix as the last one. When in the editing window of Cubase LE there's a pull down window on the top right allowing you to select the size of the piece you want to snip off a track for editing. Mine is in ms, how do I change it to beats? If that question is clear.

Never used LE, but in SX you right click the time bar at the top of the track window (where you set your L/R pointers for mixdown) and select bars+beats.

Yeah, I can't believe I spent half an hour trying to figure that out and I didn't get it. Sometimes I doubt my own intelligence. Thanks for your help.

Doesn't that go by the setting on the transport too? i.e. if you change the setting (TC, beats) all the displays change too?
