So I'm going in to record a few tracks this afternoon, and for some reason, on every song I open up I've enabled some kind of marker function that's screwing me up. For instance-when I play the tracks, the meter doesn't run across the screen like usual. Finally when it hits a marker (I guess) it starts running, but the audio doesn't match up with the screen. It's about 10 seconds behind, and I checked the pre roll, there is none. So if I try to record, it's almost like it's doing a punch, but I don't know how to delete them and get it back to normal. Also, when I hit play, the stop button also lights up, which I've never seen done before either. Obviously I've globally changed a setting or something and it's really screwing me up. Thanks-

ok, i think that's a latency thing.

um. the buffer size setting might be making that happen.

FYI, with almost all audio apps, the bar is always a few seconds ahead of the recorded waveform thats popping up on the screen. when you stop recording it jumps to the end and the waveform pops up right?

doesnt sound like a big deal. as long as the audio gets on to the hard drive..
