Simple interface to use softsynths with my laptop?

I want to be able to record my softsynths with my analog recorder. what is a simple (yet good sounding) interface that i can play my softsynths with that has MIDI as well? Thanks
 
I like the Tascam US-122 or US-144 for this, which even supports GiggaStudio GSIF drivers. You could get lower latency with a firewire interface though, but will pay quite a bit more to get the same functionality.
 
look at the novation nio 2/4 cheap and has a bunch of softsynth bundled with it, the tascam is also rock solid for cheap, on the firewire end if you want somthing real cheap look at the Firefly 302 sells for round 150.00 us.
