My guess is no: They have the two different ones, one which is in a nice box with just the cone cable between it and the computer (1010) and another with a load of breakout cables on the back of the computer (lt), they are different only in this way so my guess is that you cant!
No they are different. The 1010LT has two small monitor or mouse looking plugs on the back, and the 1010 has one big 25 pin sized plug, if I remember right.
i heard somewhere that the converters for the LT were on the PCI thingy, while on the 1010 they were actually in the breakout box... apparently reduced the noise picked up by other stuff on the motherboard and things?
don't quote me on that, but i think that's right... would sort of account for the difference in price maybe?
Long story short, when I ordered my Delta 1010, the factory sealed box did NOT have the PCI card. So I tried to send it back and newegg basically told me to piss off. While I was in contact with M-audio, another forum user said that he had an extra 1010 PCI card that he got off ebay on the cheap, if I needed it, he'd kick it to me for a few bones. M-audio ended up coming through for me and sending me the PCI card, so now I have an extra PCI card and no breakout box for it. Was just trying to see if I had a logical use for it, or just hold on to it as a back up, just in case.
