silica??

does anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy those little silica packets? i would prefer the ones that are two colored. (blue when it's good to go, and turns pink or red when it's used up, and needs to go back to the oven)

Seriously, you can buy the packs at Head Shops, or at least I used to be able to in Dallas.....in my misspent youth I often found it necessary to dry out powdery substances I got from some biker people...if there's not such a shop near you, sometimes the packs are in electronic gear you buy, and I've also seen in 'em some medicine or vitamin bottles...gibs

Craft shops sell cans of silica for drying flowers. I think it's a one pound can for about $8.00. You can make your own packets with this and it can be reactivated in an oven.
