Hi folks,

this is my acoustic solo guitar arrangement of this good old tune written my Franz Xaver Gruber in 1818:

A merry christmas to you all!!

Jimmy

Dude so sweet...don't know if you know the alleged story behind this song but how I remember it was Gruber was more an organist than a guitar player but the organ at the church was broken ( debate on whether or not it was rust or mice) when the idea and song came to him he was sitting on hill in the winter night looking over his tiny peaceful town on Christmas eve and the first time this song was ever played it was played on a guitar for lack of a usable organ...As usual.... Love your version! Would so love to jam with you someday...who knows, it could happen.

Very nice!

Merry Christmas, Jimmy. And thanks for posting so many great videos this past year.
I have to thank YOU for all your kinds comments about my playing TalismanRich!!

All the best for your 2022 my friend!

Hugs, Jimmy
