So ya got three guitar tracks down, and now you wanna go to your outboard FX porcessor for some verb and compression, etc..
How does the typical routing go?
I'm thinking I would play back the track (we'll say track 1), routing the "out" to my processor and back in as a new track (track 4).

Using Ntrack, does this sound about right?

I guess... If you are only using it for one track, or for one mix of tracks, you can just use an output and input as auxiliary during mixing, if N-track allows that, but it'd be a good idea to record it anyway for later reference...

There's not alot of options. Record it or not record it. I guess...
