You mean like a compressor sidechain?

Yes and no. SX doesn't support sidechaining out of the box, however, there are some sidechaining capable compressors out there, such as the Waves C1 and Voxengo Crunchessor. Actually Crunchessor might be an even better choice since it can do stereo sidechaining (there is a whole HOW TO on Voxengo's website on how to do this).

I heard on Cubase.net that SX4 will contain VST3 which will have sidechaining

You can check out the Slim Slow Slider Plugins (Half the site is japanese or something when I try to view it). But when I downloaded the plugins it came with a schematic how to use it (It involves using Quad Group Channels). The only reason I haven't upgraded from SX2 to SX3 was because they didn't include side-chaining capabilities, as they were rumoured to, so if SX4 has it, great, I'll finally upgrade, but I'm not holding my breath.
