very nice...
you have a great voice, good lyrics, great arrangement. Has a very Richard Ashcroft feel to it. Especially like the droney ending where the electric guitar comes in. Very strong overall. What mics did you use for your voice and the acoustic?

I like the song... the mix is weird. You've got these totally dry guitars right in your face, and then like a cathedral reverb on the vocal. It just doesn't fit.

The rhythm acoustic sounds pretty boxy...you might try cutting it between 315Hz and 800 pretty wide and boosting it in the really high highs.

I like the concept for the song...just some mix issues.

Thanks. The mix is pretty straight off the rack so to rack, the reverb was added as a last minute thing, I intend to remix in Cubase (this was done in Cool Edit) and get everything right so advice like the above is very useful!

As for mics I used a cheap Shure 12A (with a home made pop filter for vox) for everything, running that into Behringher and that direct into my pcs line-in. Pretty basic home recording setup.
