I just bought a Shure WH20 head-worn wired XLR mic to record vocal / narration into a Zoom H6. Reviews of this mic say it lacks bass range. Any tips on how I can get more bass from this mic (before post production)?

Just EQ but dont over cook it. However, it will still sound a bit close and dark. Should be fine for narration if you can stop it popping.

Thanks Rob - I thought the H6 couldn't EQ live recording? Or, are you saying post-production?

Sorry - yes afterwards. In fairness, for narration, bass isnt that vital. Its quite common for people to use bass cut to help the audio, rather than hinder it. Your headset is sort of designed to not have much bass as it will be used very close to the lips, in situation where ambient noise will be quite high. You often end up with very strange EQ curves to make it blend properly.
