I got this lavalier mic in a box of random PA-system-type stuff (might make other posts on that), at a church garage sale...

It's really too bad that it "should not be connected to standard phantom- or non-phantom-powered microphone inputs"... Any mic gurus have any idea how I might modifiy it to work properly?
I tried plugging it in...It definitely likes phantom power.. Still only maxing out at -20 dbFS at full gain (tapping on the chassis)....
