Hey

Has anyone usd this mic before (Shure 515SD) ?

What would it be suited to?

The 515SD was the forerunner to the SM57, it is very similar to an SM57 so you could use it for live vocal, micing guitar amps even snare with good results. A lot of 60's recordings were done with the 515SD before the SM57 came along.
