Naw...I got my question answered.

And doing it this way is not normal for me, but it makes sense when you're not using a metronome and you're tracking ten songs one after another. Making ten sessions seemed dumb.
 
Just a FYI to all, but i'm pretty damn sure that added fx, automation, and certain tweaks to tracks will copy over if you do decide to copy and paste the track to a new project. Then again I just read this:

You can choose whether or not to copy automation envelopes with your media items when they are copied. It depends on whether you have set the option to Move envelope points with media items on or off. This option is accessed by right clicking on the Envelope tool on the main REAPER toolbar. You can also use the Actions editor to assign a shortcut key to toggle this action on and off.
If this option is turned off, then envelopes will not be copied with the media items.
If this option is turned on, then the envelopes will be copied with the media items.

But that is only pertaining to envelopes.... I don't know.. now I'm curious and want to know if everything does copy over... will have to check it out when I get home.... Now I kinda feel like a contradiction... MOOT POST SORRY
