I bought Cakewalk Pro Suite about 3 weeks ago. Shopped all over the net and came up with a best price of $499.00.

So today I get a circular from Sam Ash showing it for $399.00. What's up? Is CWPA 10 coming soon?

Also, they are showing a "blowout" on 2020bas monitors for $599.00. That's at least $80.00 better than I've seen them anywhere else. Usually Sam Ash's prices are quite high - so typically I don't bother even looking there.

Anyway, if anyone is looking to buy Pro Suite or the 2020bas's - you been alerted!

I read somewhere, either another post or in a net blerb, that Cakewalk 10 was in beta testing. I think that was at least a month? ago.

if they are I hope it allows you to mute sections of audio not just the track!!

I belive the new version is called Sonar. For a hint at what 's new, visit the cakewalk web site and read the interview with Greg. They were supposed to show it at AES in LA.
