shipping a mixer on Greyhound bus...

i just bought a mackie SR24, but unfortunately its about 48 hrs away! I was wondering what you think of transporting this board by bus. If you had to, would you? or should i seek an alternate means. the travel distance is approx 2days.

no, the board would be travelling solo, thats why i'm abit (actually alot) concerned.

As long as you have insurance as well as, "yeah, they sorta lost it" coverage, you're all set.

i guess my main concern was if the board could withstand travelling beneath the bus. I hear how some boards are quote "tough as nails" or can take a beating. How fragile are the components?
