Probably the coolest song you've ever done.

Drums are fantastic. Guitar solos are blistering. Love the "She Wolf" chant. Production sounds spot on.

The dumb lyrics are awesome.

Wow, thanks a lot dude. :)

I listen. I like.

The lead guitars especially. Great irreverent attitude. Remind me of Richard Hell and the Voidoids for some reason

Thanks dude. I do draw a lot of influence from 70's NY Punk, so that's cool. :D

Simple and straightforward - just the way I like it. :)

Any mix comments/suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

Quarter triplets over punk. Wow. OK, we must all bow down to the Gerg for his inspired wit... Another bombastic beast. You just have too much fun with this shit. I wish I could channel your energy and wit in my compositions... I got no gripes, it's just too much fun. :)

Thanks a lot dude. I really do have fun with it. I have no shame and make no apologies. Fast, loud, fun. That's all I really care about. :)

Someone else had mentioned dotted-quarter-notes and I had to google it. I don't know that stuff. The quarter note triplet thing just sounded right to me. I really don't know what I'm doing, I just do it. :o

I sometimes think that knowing "the rules" can handicap a composer, because you could hypothetically fear breaking them. Not you. Your ignorance is blissful, productive, and a wicked good time. Not to say that you actually break rules, because who is to say; but mostly that you have no fear of them. This is a good thing. Keep on keepin' on, man, you have something special.

Thanks a lot man. I appreciate that. :)

Stay tuned for my next one. I'm going full-bore prog/punk. :D

Lol. I don't know about parts. I don't even know how "prog" it is. Probably not much. It's just a bunch of retardedness. :D

I've got the basics tracked. I need to figure out a piano part maybe, and more guitar stuff. About half of the lyrics are written. So it shouldn't be too long now. Just don't get your hopes up. It will be totally stupid. :D

Hey Grace, I love the production you have once again put into this tune. There isn't much more I could really say that hasn't been said apart from the the verse's where it goes all staccato.
It seems like the phrasing of the vocals, guitars and the drums aren't quite in the same timing. I know they are but it just seems to be like a car starving for fuel coming out of a bend. It's a minor nit pick but it doesn't retrack from the overall tune.
I once again love the guitar sounds and tones you have going, especially the lead guitar underlying the ryhthm in the beginning.
The drums sound pretty damn good once again, really punchy through my monitors in my studio.
Do you have any pics of this She Wolf? I reckon I might want to shag her! :)

Good stuff Grace!

No, she's evil! :D

Thanks Vinnie-Beth. I've known the vocals could be a little tighter since I tracked them. I was gonna really fuss over locking them in, but decided to just let it ride. It's close enough for rock and roll. :D

Once again Grace, nice work! :)

hi i was just wondering if you would tell me what your chain is and what type of reverb you use? thanks

My chain? Me > Firepod > Reaper.

I've been using Reaverb (a stock Repaer impulse file reverb). It's like a convolution reverb.
