Hates Raymond
This guitar has been hanging around at my local music store for a good year or two with nearly no interest at all according to my salesman. I fell in love the first time I saw it and the price has dropped about 800 bucks since, so yesterday I finally decided I was going to buy it. It's a Jackson "Swee-Tone" archtop. Mahogony neck thru, carved, flamed maple top, Seymour Duncan P-90's, ebony fretboard, sperzel locking tuners, bone nut, blah, blah, blah. I've never seen another one of these, but I love it, so I thought I would share my joy with you guys!

Very very nice. I wonder why no one picked it up sooner. I've always like Jackson necks- I'll bet it plays and sounds like a dream.

Congrats...

See, good things come to those who wait. I got a $2800 custom shop Esp that was hangin around for years for $350. Enjoy that there new fiddle now.

Nice guitar. Are you going to leave the P90's in there or swap them out to the humbuckers?

Thanks, everybody. Oh yeah, I'll definitely leave the P-90's in there.

Nice one man, I've got a soft spot for Jackson's myself. They are usually players.

Nice axe! And I think it's good to have at least one guitar in your arsenal that doesn't have a Floyd Rose!

Great looking guitar! How do the duncan p-90s sound?

now I have to ask a question: how come they couldn't have made one of these in a trans-blue or blue burst color? I'm so tired of the classic orange yellow brown sunburst colors.

I like the p-90's. They've got a sort of midrange snarl that is pretty sweet. They don't have near the low end of the Seymour Duncan JB in my other Jackson, but I like having the different flavor. They sound great with a subtle overdrive sound, and they also sound really cool with high gain. Just different.

By the way, this guitar has no "burst" effect. It's just a bright, transparent red. I agree though, and I wouldn't have bought it with an old school sunburst finish on it.

Thanks everybody!
