heres a litle ditty caled shake your gorilla.
Recorded on a Tascam 414
cheap guitar effects pedals (danelectro mini's) were used for compression, reverb & Distortion. The drums are some yamaha fake drum pads. The organ is a farfisa minicompact therough a berenger DI box. THe guitar is a silvertone played though a tiny tube amp. the bass is thougha compressoer pedal then direct to the 4track. the mic used on the vocals and guitar is some 1980s Shure PE-something.

I liked that.

It sounds totally like something that John Peel would play on his Radio 1 show. Sonically it's where it should be considering what you used to record it. The scary thing is that some bands spend money in expensive studios to get that sort of sound.

Well done. Now, where's my gorilla.

Pete.

I cant give much advice on the sound or recording...

but i love the song...

its like i was transported into a 50s surf movie on acid...and thats a compliment :D

All the credit goes to the organ, it can make the dumbest song sound sorta cool.
