Here is a cover me and a internetfriend did. I did all the instruments and my friend did the vocals. I tried to imitate a whammypedal with a glassbottle:)

Everything is made "digital", lined guitars with guitar rig, mididrums from addictive drums. I skipped all reverb on the vocals and used 2 delays instead.

let me know what you think.

you've done well.

exactly what do you mean with 'glassbottle'? it sounds awesome whatever it is.

cool cover, makes me almost forget the original.

I thought it was cool as well, was also curios about the glass bottle effect....

thanks dudes! With glassbottle i mean i was sliding with a glassbottle around the pickup trying to hit the right notes:) Like an oldschool glass slide used for playing blues.

'around the pickup' that confuses me even more:confused::confused::eek::o

You know when you use a glass slide you let it slide on the strings, not push it down to the fret like normal. And that you can use since you're not bound to the fretboard. When you slide up to 25th fret or whatever and you reach the end of the fretboard you can just keep go further up, all the way to the guitar pickups.

Get it? It's not fancy at all, just hard to explain:)

Nice version, very clean recording!
I would maybe back off the reverb on the overall mix. Sounds like it's being played in a big empty hall, but then maybe that's what you were going for.......

Cheers
Joe
