i have recently got into the idea of home studios. im a keen musican who wants to create my style of music. im a one man band. i recently purchsed m-audio oxygen 8. i have cubase vst32 and reason 3.
i have read articles about the rolands vs 2480 and other equipment.
basically question is. im on a tight budget at the moment. so i dont want to be buying the wrong gear or stuff that wont be fully used.
what kinda of equipment should i be looking.
i know mics speakers are an essitianl but which ones and what after that
your comments would be appericated

What are you going to record? What instruments to you play? What type of music do you want to produce?

Many things should be considered when purchasing gear. We can't help you without knowing what you want to do.
