Setup with the US-122

OK - So I'm getting the TASCAM US-122.

I use DFH drums, and sampled bass and other sounds. I plan on disabling my mobo soundcard and buying the 122 and an sm57 which I plan on using to mic my electric guitar amp.

The 122 has mic pres right, so this setup is fine, there isn't anything vital missing right?

You should be fine for what you want to do. As long as you don't need to input (record) more than 2 audio sources at the same time. Also, this interface has MIDI.
