I have pro audio 9.0
P4 2.4 ghz Win 2k
Aardvark Q10

I have an audio recording (no midi) that I can no longer play back.
I have been fiddleing with the settings in OPTIONS>>AUDIO (sugestions from Aardvarks web site)
I have also noticed that in the track properties the source list only has midi inputs. No audio inputs from my Q10.

What the heck did I do here?

hard to troubleshoot remotely -- but check this.

Under options/audio/drivers there is a place where you can enable/disable using particular drivers. Make sure they are all highlighted (enabled).

Thanks for the reply Lee!

I had unchecked the Audigy drivers because the Aardvark site sugested to do so. After checking them again, I still do not have playback sound.

I didn't mention in the above post that I have no Aux or output sliders on my console. They have dissapeared for some reason.

Thanks
Tom

In terms of the auxes/busses/mains dissapearing:

First, it sounds like you are talking about the console view (the one that looks like a mixing board). Are they visible at the bottom of the track view (the normal default view)?

In both cases, you sometimes have to grab the little bar and click and drag it over to show the area.

If they have been "hidden" (not sure you can do that for aux busses and mains, but just in case) try pressing the M key when the console window is highlighted. This should bring up the track manager where you can select or unselect hidden things. Make sure they are not hidden.

In terms of the drivers:

Do the Aardvark drivers show up on the list of available drivers?

Yes, the Aarvark drivers are there, and so is my Audigy sound card driver.
The Aardvark web said to only check the Aardvark ones though.

In the Console view, the track sliders were visible but not the aux or output sliders.
I am not sure why but they seem to be working now.
In the OPTIONS>>AUDIO>>Device Profile tab, I unchecked the 'Use Wave Out Position For Timing' check box. I think that may have done it????

Thanks again
Tom
