just checked the devices, the Voice Modem was missing. I am goin to try to install again and i will post back.

One thing I noticed in all my audio programs is that sometimes the primary driver is Microsoft Sound Mapper. Is that thing causing all the problems? I haven't seen it anymore since changing the settings in my pc in the past 2-3 days tho...

ok, just reinstalled it, the voice modem is still missing....
BUT, I was able to record in Sonar, BUT only 1 channel tho, in the track view IN, there is only "none" or "mono PCM 1/2 in" Nothing like left/right channel or S/PDIF..
Even more interesting, I recorded a track, reopened Sonar without changing any setting, I can no longer click on the red recording button in the track view window again...

What does voice modem do anyways??
And why is it so difficult to set things up in Sonar? I can record easily in SoundForge.

Acidrock, I thank you so so much tho, for putting up with bs like this

I'm a beaten man.

I'm very sorry to say that at this point I have no idea whats wrong here.
I was giving you advice based on my setup and limited knowledge.

I have no idea what a sound mapper is.
My rig lists a midi mapper.

My last guess wold be sound forge is not sharing the drivers?

DOES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE SOME INPUT HERE

You may have to call tech support unless somebody else has an idea.
Or take it to the soundcard forum to get a larger pool of minds to help out.

hey, Acidrock, my man

thanks for every efford you have put in for me. I am going to contact Midiman people and see what they have to offer.

again, thank you very very much
