i have the 61key triton workstation. the manual is a little hard for me to follow along. i'm trying to set up a combination where i can play keys from g9 but have the middle c playing at the same time. i'm trying to play with one hand but make it seem like i'm playing with two hands. i know that i can play it in midi into my computer and copy the track and adjust the octaves to accomplish this. i'm trying to use more of the triton and less of the computer.

Here's one way!

You can
put the same patch in two different tracks
make sure that they are on the same MIDI channel (track parameter page)
set one to sound an octave lower than played (same page as above)
Using this method you can sound like you're playing with 8 hands if you want by varying the octaves!

Hope this helps

cool

i'm going to try it out and let you know what happens. in theory it sounds like it will work. it sounds like the same technique that is used on software synths.
