Hi all,
Picked up a Yamaha Silent Guitar (SLG-100S) today, and have a question:
As I had expected (warned by reviews), the default action is seriously high - way too high for comfort for me.
Now I *could* take it back to the shop here in Berlin (where I bought it), but for logistical reasons, I'd rather set the guitar myself - I live in Bangalore, India, and need to know how to do it. I do have experience adjusting truss rods, filing down bridges and nuts, etc. on a variety of guitars, but was wondering if there is a recommended approach for this particular guitar.
There has to be a reason why Yamaha includes a truss rod adjustment allen key in the box, but the manual is silent on its use.
