i cant figure it out. i took out the shite SB Live! and am running everything through my 1010. it plays windows sounds just find, but i cant, and dont think that i can get the cd to play though it. its PCI card doesnt have any connectors like the SB did, and i have the cd drive going into my motherboard instead but i dont know how i could get that to go through the 1010. any ideas?

The newer media players allow you to stream audio CDs as if they were data disks with WAVs, so you can pipe 'em through the file system instead of a cable from the CD-ROM. The latest version of Windows Media Player and (I believe) Winamp give you this capability.

hey,

you can download Sonic Foundry Siren Express for free from sonic foundry.com

and it will play everything through the delta 1010 if you have the delta 1010 as your playback option in "control panel/ sounds and multimedia.

Or if your C.Ddrive has one of those headphone outputs, you could run the appropiate stereo cable to a pair of inputs on the 1010.
