Setting up 1402VLZ and Delta 1010

Hello,

ive recently bought a Mackie 1402 VLZ Desk, and a M Audio Delta 1010 soundcard for my mac. Since im new to all this, i have no idea how to set them both up, what cables i need to buy, etc etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction and tell me what cables i need? Where to plug them in? etc.

I have all this equipment but cant use it!!

Any advice is appreciated.

Are you using the mixer to mixdown or just using the channel strips for tracking and then mixing down in the box?
