i have an alesis SR-16 drum machine and i have a sample. I want to combine my drums that were recorded on my computer to my sample thats also on the computer. Im using Adobe Audition. Is there some other program or the one im workin with (Adobe Audition) that will automatically put the two on beat so when i play it back it will be on beat. Or do i have to just use my best bet and keep it on beat? thanx.

if the sample is short, then not a problem. Just move it were it needs to be in your arrangement window or wherever you see your tracks. If its a long sample, quite a bit more involved. The 2 would need to be pretty close bpm wise.
