Sequencing software and the Triton together

Whasup folks. I should post this in the keyboard section, but since we all make beats here yall might be able to help me better. Lately, i've been wanting an mpc real bad so i can make music with the triton sounds and sequence the drums(with my own sounds) on an MPC. I was wondering if i can do something similar with FL studio thru midi? I already use midi to control vsti instruments but instead i'm wondering if i can set it up where when i hit start on the triton, FL studio will start. The reason i wanna do this is so i can use the tritons sounds and sequence drums on FL at the same time on sync instead of making the drum pattern first, exporting to wav, and dragging it in Acid Pro then recording audio from the triton one track at a time.
 
Just run 2 audio cables to your soundcard from your triton or
sample the drums into the triton and just use the triton.

I don't use FL so I don't know much about it, but I would go with just using the Triton, or using audio from the Triton through the Triton's outputs into your soundcard.

I have been using different methods for years to record.I see you want to bring the mpc into your system and style.Not a bad choice.Easiest way to to this is through midi..What i DO.

the mpc as midi controllers which send and recieve midi signals from keyboards for example your triton.

You have 16 midi channels (10 usually being the midi drum channel)

thats 16 instruments you can use from one keyboard.I dont see you using much more than that

You also still have the sampling options.No matter where you sample from.Samples turned into instrument patches on a keyboard or the pc or samples u loaded or sampled into the mpc.Mainly drums and one shot sounds.The mpc is a dog at one shot sounds.if you listen to any jay-z or dmx albums the producers who produce there beats usually use 8 main sounds (1 being the entire drum kit/set) so basically 7 sounds along with the drum program. These are huge rap artists and they are using just a mpc programing 7 samples and a drum kit. seems easier said than done..Not really..

its really that easy..
the mpc has a hold/tap (roll) button that allows you to be the best programmer ever.Once you learn the tricks to the mpc you will realize that every rap producer uses this machine. there really is no other way to get that classic hip hop sound without it.

the mpc should only be bought for its features.the main features being the classic gritty sound it creates.the pounding samples it can push out and the drum pads along with the hold /quantize buttom.

sorry for getting off track but this is what i would do

do the midi connections to the mpc from the triton.dont use your triton as the sequencer use the mpc.Now you have the options of choosing drum (which on the mpc is the samples loaded into the mpc ) or midi1 (a) midi2(b) which would be your keyboards.

you can hook your mpc up to the keyboard and the pc for a total in sync system!!!!! holla back if you need help or samples to get you started
 
Only problem is, I don't have an MPC yet! I want that thing so bad. I only got three more things on my equipment list to buy for the next few years but money is so thin. I don't even have to get the newest mpc. I want MPC 1000, i think that's the right one. It looks plain but i went to a dudes house who was runnin his mpc with two roland boards and his music was slammin!! I can do the same thing with fl and the triton but i want to be able to make the music without being glued to the computer screen. Also, i still don't know how to sync Fl and the triton together no the same time format. Imma try to figure that out today. I already have alot of sounds but imma get one of those drum cd's off ebay or bangin beats when i get my MPC.
 
I just figured out how to sync the triton up with FL Studio and i'm about to start grindin like crazy!!! This is exactly what i need. I can use the sounds off the triton and program drums the way i like to with battery. I'm so crunk!! Imma read that link you posted too fyre. I'm bout to read that right now.
