I have heard of people saying that some programs sound better than others(ex. cubase vs logic). My question is do all sequencing programs sound the same. I use 99% samples and never record live instruments. I was wondering if I should just worry about the program I am using to record my samples or worry about the sequencing program or both.
For the record, i use soundforge 5 for recording and editing my samples and fruit loops for drums. I am in the process of choosing a new program to do the sequencing(protools, cubase, logic, etc).
Any info would be helpful.
( i hope y'all understand what I am asking)
