I just got the Sennheiser e901 e902 e903 3-904 2-906 908 AND THEY ARE GREAT.
Especially the boundary 901,the 906 and the 904.
There is such a clarity in the signal that one might think it is a studio condenser mic.I know it sounds strange but it is true.
I use them with 6 channel of Apogee MP and True precision 8. I have tested the Max SPL and it is amazing how much they can stand without distortion.
My setup is:
901+902 on kick.or just the 901 if a bassist want to mic the bass amp with the 902
903 snare 3 904 toms 906 guitar or sometimes 2 toms.
I tested the 914 and was very surprised with the way they sound and with there tree position bass-roll off/Cut-off switch. It really helps you control the amount of toms leak in the overhead signal.Very innovative.
I can not believe that there are no reviews anywhere.Give them a try.

By the way I tried the 906 on Jazz and on metal dist guitar+Amp.
Jazz Gibson lespaul studio+AmpegV22 1970's
Distortion Fender strat1970's+Big Muff+AmpegV22 1970's
The Three position switchable sound character really lets you choose your sound the way you want it
Bright, moderate, dark.
I used bright for DIST and Dark for Jazz.
