I own the Sennheiser. My buddy owns the EV. He's tried them both (I have not) and preferrs the Senn- and would like to trade. FWIW, the Senn sells for about $30 less than the EV at Guitar Center. He says "I like your sennheiser mic better than my new EV mic for my voice. Mine has certain advantages for some situations though--virtually no handling noise, and extra brightness and punch in the upper mid range that aids itelligibility and being heard over the mud. It got great reviews--and may be great for certain voices, probably including some women. But I think your mic makes my voice sound smoother."
